MLC School- Fitness for Sport

Dear Parents and Students,

MLC School is offering our first ever Sports Fitness sessions to students from Year 7- 12.

These sessions will be a combination of general fitness as well as Strength and Conditioning and are open to students across all sports and fitness levels.

If you are looking to challenge your fitness levels and improve your general and functional strength then these sessions are for you. They are designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals over a 1 hour period of time.

Sessions will commence with dynamic stretches and running, followed by a variety of interval training such as push-ups/sit-ups, squats, plyometric exercises, lifting weighted objects such a medicine balls, and various types of intense explosive routines.

Majority of the sessions will be aiming to increase cardiovascular efficiency, increase strength and focus on conditioning to assist in injury prevention.


Session days and times:

 

Monday Mornings – 7:00am – 8:00am Burwood Park

 

Wednesday Mornings – 7:00am -8:00am Burwood Park

 

* STUDENTS CAN EITHER ATTEND ONE OR TWO MORNINGS PER WEEK*
