Double Bronze Adventurous Journey, or Practice or Qualifying Silver or Gold AJ

The aim of this Adventurous Journey (AJ) is to provide participants with the opportunity to learn more about the wider environment, as well as to develop their self-confidence, team work and health. Participants are taken out of their comfort zone but kept within a safe and secure setting, achieved through suitable training and supervision.

This Decembers AJ we will be travel from the bush to the beaches and end up in the center of Sydney.  The girls will work in teams, posting regular blogs and take part in amazing race style challenges.

* Silver AJ’s normally go for 3 days / 2 nights; the format of the Urban Challenge requires students to stay for the entire 4 days.

* Due to the filming of a television show on Cockatoo Island, the Urban Challenge to will now finish in hostel accommodation.  Because of this a reduced tent rental rate is being offered.

Cancellations, Itinerary Changes & Refunds

MLC reserves the right to cancel, alter, reschedule or amend any or all programs offered at any time.

If a trip is cancelled by Urban Challenge due to safety concerns or National park closure, MLC will refund all payments made by the applicant.


This year we will be using images from the girls Blogs to create a photobook that will be presented to the school.  As with other DofE trips girls have an opportunity to ordered a photo-book of the trip.
